Das ansonsten isolierte Israel errang am Wochenende einen seltenen diplomatischen Sieg. Nachbarstaaten wie Griechenland, Zypern und die Türkei verhindern das Auslaufen einer Flotte von Aktivisten, die Israels Seeblockade des Gazastreifens durchbrechen wollten. Selbst die internationale Staatengemeinschaft steht scheinbar hinter Jerusalem. Hauptgrund für den Wandel: Seit einem Jahr geht es dem belagerten Landstrich wirtschaftlich deutlich besser.
